Tim: You don't seriously see celebrities as the most important role models, right?

Ned: It's a defensible stance. They have the rapt attention of the dull masses, making their influence unmatched.

Ned: Of course, another defensible stance is that they are a flock of insecure imbeciles.

Tim: So...
Ned: Only when it makes me richer.

It's called selective open-mindedness, and it has served Ned well.

Celebrities are actually mindful of their power and feel the burden of that responsibility; they just happen to see fashion as the world's most pressing issue. One might say they're gilt-ridden.
