Tricks of the charitable trade

Ned: Ah, supplicatory mail from the American Diabetes Association. They always include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Tim: Does that affect your behavior?
Ned: Actually, it does make a difference.

Tim: Really, you donate to them instead of others because they pay postage?
Ned: What? No.
Ned: I just never buy stamps.
notes: do i look like a chump to you

"Mama didn't raise no fool."

I've also received snail mail solicitations with cash money enclosed in the envelope. I mean... they were just nickels, but still: what is going on? I'm not sure how I feel about an organization that's gonna pass my donation on to other potential donors.

Yes, that means I donate nickels and stamps.

Loyal fans know this isn't the first time we've seen the classic battle between Ned and charity.
