The year 2012, pt. 3

Dan: Don't you ever question your lifestyle? Wonder whether you'll some day regret how you spent your time?
Rob: Should I?
Dan: From what I've heard... yes, that is the first thing you should do.

Rob: I see. And you?
Dan: Me? I do what feels right in the moment. It may go good or I might lose a toe, but I always look back with a smile.
Rob: Nice. Well, I'm pretty much the same way, sans the digit loss.

Dan: ...
Dan: Really? No...
Dan: Okay, then what did you get up to last weekend?
Rob: A majority of the time I was in SilkyPix, processing RAW files into optimally-rendered JPEGs.

Dan: Cool. I don't know what any of that means.
Dan: And I'm gonna go talk to someone else now.

My Sunday afternoon was spent in SilkyPix, processing RAW files into optimally-rendered JPEGs.

Most people are happy to post low-resolution photos to Facebook, tag a few friends, and move on with their lives, blissfully ignorant of such concerns as white balance, dynamic range and noise reduction smear. But those who geek out on photography have to make their photos look their best. You know, for all those times when we never look at them again.
